Seems to be covering the same sort f territory as Robocop - the human brain tissue in a machine remembering its past. Interestingly that's the same territory as I covered in the first short story I ever had published: Another England published in Back Brain Recluse back in 1989.
I’ve been an engineer, barman, skip lorry driver, coalman, boat window manufacturer, contract grass cutter and builder. Now I write science fiction books, and am slowly getting over the feeling that someone is going to find me out, and can call myself a writer without wincing and ducking my head. As professions go, I prefer this one: I don’t have to clock-in, change my clothes after work, nor scrub sensitive parts of my body with detergent. I think I’ll hang around.

I saw this a few weeks ago. They're making it into a full-length feature film.
The rights have been bought by John Davis, who directed the rather excellent Chronicle. Fingers crossed they'll make an damn good job of it.

If only you could get the backing to do the same with The Skinner
