A comment on the previous post is one I've been reading a lot from American readers. It is, apparently, difficult to obtain my books over there. The first reason for this is that Tor US doesn't publish them all, it's a shame, but what can I do?
However, some while ago someone directed my attention to The Book Depository which states on its website Free worldwide delivery on every book. If you go on there and stick my name in the search you get most of my books, and they're even discounted. For example, you can buy a copy of Gridlinked, in its nice new cover, for £4.75 including postage and packing. Still suspicious I checked out the 'to these location' bit and the USA is there. In fact there's a huge list of countries there. They also use Paypal.
Now, I haven't used The Book Depository myself so don't know how good it is or how true the promises on the website. I believe others have used it and been satisfied. Please, if any of you reading this do buy books through them, let me know how it went.

I have used The Book Depository to get your books in the US, and have been very happy with the service. The prices are quite reasonable, and the books have arrived promptly. Even the books which are available on in the US on Amazon can sometimes be found more cheaply from Book Depository.
Thanks for that Gail. I can remember others being happy with TBD but didn't remember who, when or where.
Incidentally, thanks for your comments about Line War! Interested readers can find them on Gail's blog here:

I use TBD for all the British authors I read. Usually order your books on the day they are released and recieve them within a week. VERY happy with thier prices and service.

Great info - I wasn't familiar with this site.
This is good info. I am from the US and I also was unfamiliar with The Book Depository. I ordered Orbus through Amazon, but had to go through a 3rd party seller as Amazon has it listed as "not published yet". The book cost me a good $10 more than TBD has it listed for. Ah well.... In all honesty, I would have paid even more. I do enjoy your books... :)
Glad this is all of help. I'm told there's also the American version: http://thebookdepository.com
I was over reading sci-fi until I picked up Brass Man. Thanks! So now I am reliving it all as it happened. Question: Where did you get the name Serbine Kline. Do you have anymore history on him.

Oh terrific! I've been using Amazon.co.uk to get them here (because I'm too impatient to wait till the US one gets it, and half the time it's immediately sold out anyway).

I have only been able to find "Shadow of the Scorpion" and "Voyage of the Sable Keech" in US editions; I've bought all your other books via The Book Depository (which I, too, discovered through Amazon.com). In each instance the service was speedy, books arrived in good shape, and the price was reasonable. Very much looking forward to both "Orbus" and "The Gabble."
I'm in Oregon in the US. I have bought most of your books from the Book Depository. Delivery is quite fast and, they have some of the best customer service I've experienced. When you email them about a problem, a real human responds.
Of course, with yours and the other great UK writers, even when they are published in the US it can be up to a year from the UK date. I am too anxious. So, I get them in your motherland.
I'm about to order Orbus from them. It's about $10 cheaper than Amazon- US.
Highly recommended.
Thanks for your work,
Rick York
GJakeyS, the first name, Serban, just popped into my head. The second name, Kline, from the bottle. A bottle that perpetually pours into itself seemed a good name for a madman. Glad to have refueled your addiction.
All good reports on The Book Depository thus far. I've also discovered that they ship to Crete, which is good for me.
I'm in Canada and I've bought all your recent hardcovers through Book Depository. They are great.
I've picked up a couple of your books from them through Amazon (quick shipping, good service), but I didn't realize they have a stand-alone web presence. Thanks for the tip!
I’ve been using TBD since it was mentioned in a comment here a year or so ago. I tried it on spec and was impressed – at least as cheap as Amazon UK and free postage to Australia, with deliveries arriving here about 7-10 days after ordering. I’ve used it to buy your books in hardcover (Orbus was great just btw!) since they and those from other British authors are not available in that format here, and it’s now my default online bookstore.
