beating DUNE and PLAYER OF GAMES. 2 great authors and least fave books. usually these lists are completely 'orrible for me. this list has stuff i haven't actually read. a little less obvious regurgitated stock than the usual fare.
yer recommended TALON, by the way, was a quick read. updated James Bond surfer bro kinda thriller. i haven't read something like that for about 15 years.
