Waterstones Romford

Nice picture here sent in by Spencer Van Schevensteen of the shelves in Waterstones in Romford. So thank you to whoever is doing the ordering there!

Is it just ordered alphabetically? I write under the pen-name 'Aaron Aardvark' for this reason.

That certainly helps when any lists of books come up.

I absolutely love the artwork, which is something you can't fully appreciate with the ebook versions I have. They really are the best looking books on the shelf. You can spot them at a glance from a mile away! Which is a good thing.

That is impressive. So often I see bookstores that only have a few of an author's books, usually the latest and another one in a series but not the first...which is always annoying.

And I have to say that whoever does the shelving at that store is an obvious book lover. Everything is neat and tidy and makes me want to stare longingly at the shelves.

I want to appear on the shelves between Asher and Asimov. Alas, reality dictates Paul Amnuel and Kevin J Anderson. *sob*

I was wondering, how are digital versions of your books doing at the moment to their physical counterparts as a rough proportion?

I know I was reading about doom and gloom on the highstreet for bookstores, but I do wonder if that's more the Amazon impact.
