I read 28 (I think) books of the Dumarest saga but gave up because I thought it unlikely he would ever find Earth. Todd informs me the saga does end and has now given me the evidence. I must start searching dealers in second-hand books for these:
i found some of the Dumarest stuff online, some free reads site (expired copyright?). started the first one, but got distracted by the Simak, Lupoff, Doctorow, and Baker. also, not so easy for me to read online.

definitely one of my guilty pleasures, these books. yes #33 is pretty final unless tubb left unpublished manuscripts or will rise from the dead
