Book Cases Three

Here's a couple more for jealous appraisal. The first belongs to Mark Chitty and the second belongs to packrat54. Oh and, additionally, you can find Bob Lock's one here.

Thanks for putting the pic up Neal :) It's also great to see more bookshelfs, although mine is a little dated. I've got a few new pics over at the blog, this is the main one though:

He must REALLY like Hamilton - 3 copies of the same book?

It's surprising (or maybe it isnt when thinking about it) when looking at the book cases over the last few entries how similar the collections are to my own, the only difference is mine are stored in boxes in the loft!

The bookshelf thread sounded like fun, so I snapped a photo of my current collection.
This is actually my “culled” collection, as I recently moved to a new place and in the interest of saving space (and my back)...I deposited literally 50% of the books at my local library. (Books are HEAVY when you’re moving. LOL)
Eventually I have plans to create a “built in” bookshelf, but for now my bookshelf is currenty crammed into the corner in the spare bedroom. I used to have it *somewhat* orgnaized but...during unpacking, I did the time honored method of stacking books on top of one another in no discernable order.

Antony - that is something that almost everyone comments on! I am a collector though, so I'm anal about these things.

Thanks for the link, Neal.

My pride of place book is the red-covered Cowl which is an uncorrected bound proof copy I managed to get my hands on.
