Ah, I do like this:
“Wars are still waged, crimes committed, and science undone out of deference to an invisible being who is believed to have created the entire cosmos, fine-tuned the constants of nature, blanketed the earth with 20,000 distinct species of grasshopper, and yet still remains so provincial a creature as to concern himself with what consenting adults do for pleasure in the privacy of their bedrooms.”
– Sam Harris.
Get this! It’s a miracle: http://getbehindjesus.net/

Huh, whilst arguing the need for debate on this and saying how excellent these 'Intelligent Design' packs are, this Mr Cowan is probably shuffling his rosary or muttering the odd prayer. The argument of the intelligent design proponents: God did it. Wankers.
what was that ridiculous video i saw a while back, where some jack-off was using a banana as "prof" of intelligent design?
believe whatever you want, but please, oh please stop trying to dress it up as science. it's embarrassing for those of us who aren't crushingly retarded.
oh yeah
here it is.
Living in the U.S. there is always a constant debate between the god-fearing Christians and those who believe it is their duty to remove all religious imagery from the public view. Either way it boils down to two large groups of people who are trying to save all those who poor souls who don’t have the time worry about such banality. I guess nowadays you get it from either end. I for one find far to much wonder in the universe to simply drop to my knees and pray for good tidings like so many other folk do. Yet, if I did have an inclination to start worshiping a deity, with so many different religions out there I really wouldn't quite know where to begin.
"Intelligent Design" is also being pushed for in this country to be taught as a counter-point to evolution. And yes Neal the argument over here is: God did it. Although we would say 'Numb nuts' but the principle is the same.
Kirby, I can't make up my mind ... is this guy taking the piss?
Oh, when I say 'this guyu' I mean the plonker talking about bananas on Kirby's link, not you, maynard1977.
Why on earth would you want to publicise your dog's arse on the interwebnet, unless of course there are nice men out there who like looking at dog's arses...
Neal,
Isn't there something similar to the banana one but aimed at women?
Cucumbers come to mind, but I could be thinking of another website I frequent...
I'm sure the lady in question was shouting... 'Oh God, oh God! quite a lot though.'
It’s been posited that the apple in the Garden of Eden was in fact a pomegranate, maybe that’s all spin and obfuscation. Maybe the Eve’s discovery of forbidden knowledge involved one of those knobbly outdoor cucumbers? This could also explain the rather negative attitude, of the religions whose myth this is, towards women.
Chris, I believe the picture in question was wholly representative of 'intelligent design'.
from what i've seen i think the banana-as-proof-of-god was actually the twats sum argument, and it was supposed to be serious... and i meant proof before. it never fails when i use harsh language such as 'retarded' i'll fuck up and post a typo on a public forum.
perhaps, that, then, is proof of god?
